1. Agreement and operator
This website is operated by KW Publishers Pvt. Ltd. (“KW Publishers”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing the website, creating an account, submitting an enquiry, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the policies linked from this page. If you do not agree, please do not use the relevant service.
2. Customer accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials confidential, and tell us if you believe your account has been used without permission. A person under 18 may use ordering features only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who can enter into the transaction.
3. Catalogue information and availability
We take reasonable care with titles, contributors, ISBNs, formats, subscription plans, prices, images, and stock information. Minor display differences may occur, and catalogue information may be corrected when an error is identified. Adding an item to a cart does not reserve it. An order is accepted only after the website confirms the order and its payment.
For journal subscriptions, the plan shown at checkout—such as per copy or per annum and the number of included issues—forms part of the order.
4. Orders, prices, and payment
Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees unless stated otherwise. Website orders are currently accepted for delivery within India only, and standard shipping is free. Payment is processed through Razorpay or another payment provider identified at checkout; we do not receive your complete card or UPI credentials.
We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch when payment cannot be verified, an item is unavailable, an obvious pricing or catalogue error has occurred, fraud or misuse is suspected, or fulfilment is not reasonably possible. If we cancel a captured payment, the refundable amount will be sent back to the original payment method.
5. Cancellation before dispatch
A signed-in customer may request cancellation from My Orders while the order remains eligible and has not been dispatched. The website rechecks ownership, payment, and fulfilment status when the request is submitted. If dispatch has already been recorded, the cancellation will not be accepted and the return or replacement process will apply after delivery.
An accepted cancellation blocks fulfilment and creates a full refund request to the original payment method. “Refund initiated” does not mean the funds have already reached your account; the final credit time is controlled by Razorpay and your bank or payment provider.
6. Returns, replacements, and refunds
Return or replacement requests must be made within seven calendar days after recorded delivery through Contact Us. You must sign in, select the relevant order, explain the issue, and wait for our return address and dispatch instructions. 7. Delivery
Delivery estimates are indicative. Courier delays, address problems, public disruptions, and events outside reasonable control can affect timing. You are responsible for supplying a complete Indian address, valid State or Union Territory, PIN code, and reachable phone number. Please review our Shipping Policy.
8. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security or availability, submit unlawful or deceptive content, use automated means that unreasonably burden the service, or use the website to infringe another person’s rights. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect customers, staff, systems, or legal obligations.
9. Intellectual property
The website design, branding, text, catalogue descriptions, covers, images, metadata, and other content are owned by or licensed to KW Publishers and are protected by applicable law. Purchasing a publication transfers ownership of that physical copy only; it does not grant reproduction, distribution, adaptation, digitisation, or commercial-use rights.
10. Responsibility and limits
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer rights. To the extent permitted by law, KW Publishers is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from website use, and our aggregate responsibility relating to an order will not exceed the amount paid for that order. The website may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, security, or causes outside reasonable control.
11. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer forum or jurisdiction, disputes will be subject to the courts at New Delhi. We may update these terms for operational, legal, security, or service changes. The date above identifies the current version; changes apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise.
